Vinyasa Yoga is a style of yoga that focuses on increasing flexibility, strength, and overall calmness. It's one of the most popular types today because it can help you achieve all these things, plus an increased sense of clarity in your life!
Yin yoga is a slower, meditative practice focusing on connective tissues rather than muscles. It involves holding poses for three to five minutes with passive, relaxed engagement, emphasizing deep breathing instead of intense postures typical of other yoga styles.
Each week, this thoughtfully sequenced class focuses on the season, integrating meditation, mantra, mudras, pranayama, and yogic philosophy. Starting with basic floor movements, we build a foundation before progressing through sun salutations, postures, backbends, and inversions, all guided by steady, calming breathwork.
The sun symbolizes life and death. Waking with its first rays boosts your energy tenfold, making it an excellent way to start the day; facing east while chanting mantras until dawn enhances mental alertness and physical well-being, especially after late-night tasks.
The changing energies of nature and the seasons are a perfect reminder to take time for yourself. With this practice, you'll find inner peace in your body's ability to balance all four elements—fire (energy), water(liquid), earth, and air—which creates perfection within us!
Experience a fresh approach to fitness with weekly yoga classes inspired by the season. Each thoughtfully sequenced session starts with foundational movements, gradually building into advanced postures. You'll feel calm and strengthened as you progress through standing, seated, back bending, and inversion practices.
Yoga Tune Up® helps you discover your interconnected body by investigating all of its systems and attuning to the feelings in different parts. It will also teach how breathing strategies, self-massage therapy, and corrective exercise can be used for healing purposes when addressing areas that might need more attention than others.
Yoga Sculpt is a dynamic workout that combines free weights with yoga sequencing to build lean muscle mass and boost metabolism. This class incorporates intense strength training moves like squats and lunges, offering ultimate sculpting benefits while enhancing both strength and flexibility.
Level One Classes are typically low intensity and have a low complexity ratio that are good for beginners, and those looking for slow and restorative class types.
